Definition

In order to catalog the works as effectively as possible, they had to be indexed. The Acubase thesaurus was therefore created at the same time as the database.
A thesaurus is a directory of keywords that enables the use of a common documentary language—in this case, a specialized medical vocabulary for traditional Chinese medicine. Thus, all synonyms, related concepts, and common terms, as well as the names of syndromes and diseases, are linked to a single keyword.

These terms allow you to search the database effectively.
